As a family we love going camping and being outdoors.
I'm Kate, chief blogger, dreamer and general organiser of camping holidays. Errol is my husband, our technical guru, chief tent pitcher and sensible voice of reason.
Our 3 mini camping geeks are;
Ben, aged 11, had his first camping experience at La Marina in sunny Spain, aged 4. He has been in love with the great outdoors ever since. He is very handy with the hammer and when not whizzing around the campsite on his bike, he can be found replenishing fresh water supplies.
Max, aged 9, crawled inside his first tent at the tender age of 8 months. His main priority was to single handedly bring down the tent at the tug of a guy rope. He regularly considered the gravel based pitch a satisfactory breakfast option. These days he likes to be in charge of assessing onsite entertainment, be it a climb up a tree or rating the Wi-Fi connection.
Dan, aged 8, was first introduced to the wonderful world of camping at the tender age of 4 months. It wasn't under canvas on this trip, but a static caravan break at a campsite near Paris. He has since experience a number of camping breaks both under canvas and in caravans. He loves all campsites, as long as he has his much loved football for company.
